The 25 Spiral Independent Creators Festival. Coming back in Aoyama, Tokyo.
Organized by Spiral, SICF (Spiral Independent Creators Festival) is an open-call art festival that aspires to discover, foster, and support emerging artists and designers. The 25 Spiral Independent Creators Festival will take place from May 2 (thu) to May 7 (tue) 2024.
SICF is divided into two sections. The EXHIBITION section, held at Spiral Hall (Spiral 3F), presents the works of young creators, from sculptures and installations, to paintings, photographies or illustrations, in individual booths. The MARKET section, held at Spiral Garden (Spiral 1F) is host to creators in the fields of design, crafts, fashion, textile or accessories. They exhibit and sell their creations.
At the end of the festival, the awards’ winners are announced. The Audience Award is selected by visitors and the Best Seller Award is given to the creator who sold the most, there are also each Judge’s Awards, the Semi-Grand Prizes and the Grand Prize.
With 11,000 visitors during the festival last year, Spiral is delighted to announce SICF25, as a promise to encounter with passionate young artists, in a venue filled with creativity.

Awards
At the end of the festival, a series of prizes is announced, including the Judges’ Awards, Semi-Grand Prize, and Grand Prize as well as the Audience Award, which is selected by visitors. The winners receive the opportunity to exhibit their work again with Spiral.
Grand Prize
・The winner will be invited to present a solo show at Spiral (500,000 yen will be prepared for the exhibition).
・The winner will be introduced on Spiral web platforms.

・The winner will be introduced on Spiral digital platforms.
Semi-Grand Prize/Judges’ Awards/Best seller Award
・The winners will participate to a commercial group exhibition at Spiral.
