スパイラルは、福岡のワンビル（運営：西日本鉄道株式会社）と協働し、若手作家の発掘・育成・支援を目的とした公募展形式のアートフェスティバル「SICF Fukuoka」を、2026年9月に開催いたします。
「SICF（スパイラル・インディペンデント・クリエイターズ・フェスティバル）」は、東京・南青山のアートセンター「スパイラル」が若手クリエイターの発掘・育成・支援を目的として2000年から開催しているアートフェスティバルです。
ジャンルや年齢にとらわれることなく、公募によって選出された気鋭の若手クリエイターが一堂に会し、絵画、立体・インスタレーション、写真、イラストレーション、ファッション、工芸・クラフト、プロダクト、パフォーマンス等の作品を発表し、活発なプレゼンテーションを展開します。
会期中には、グランプリ、準グランプリをはじめ、クリエイティブ業界の第一線で活躍する審査員が選ぶ各賞等を優秀作品に授与。グランプリ受賞者には顕彰として、ワンビルでの作品発表の機会が与えられます。
九州初開催となる「SICF Fukuoka」の会場は、2025年4月に福岡・天神の街に新たにオープンした「ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.（ワンビル）」。ワンビルでは“創造交差点”を開発コンセプトに掲げ、福岡の中心地で多くの人々が集い、行き交うなかで、多様なヒト、モノ、情報の重なりを生み出し、新たな価値を構築しています。
スパイラルはワンビルの3階にギャラリー、カフェ、ショップの複合型店舗「SPIRAL GARDEN」を構え、ワンビルを運営する西日本鉄道株式会社と協働して様々な共創アートプログラムを実施。SICFで出会ったクリエイターを積極的に各事業に起用しながら、店舗のみならず、ワンビル全体、さらには天神の街全体へと場を広げ、様々なイベントやプログラムを展開します。
「SICF Fukuoka」を中枢とした、福岡からアジアのアートシーンを盛り上げる取り組みにご期待ください。

“SICF Fukuoka” Coming in September 2026!
Spiral is bringing its popular art festival, “SICF,” to Fukuoka in September 2026. This open-call exhibition, which aims to discover, foster, and support emerging artists and designers, will be held under the name “SICF Fukuoka” at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG., a new landmark in Fukuoka. The event is a collaboration with Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd., the building’s operator, marking the first time the festival is held in Kyushu.
SICF (Spiral Independent Creators Festival) is an art festival organized by Spiral, a Tokyo-based art center, and has been held annually since 2000. It brings together creative talent from a variety of fields, regardless of their genre, age, or nationality. Artists showcase their works and give lively presentations across a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, illustration, fashion, crafts, and performance art. During SICF Fukuoka, outstanding works will be recognized with awards like the Grand Prix and Semi-Grand Prix, chosen by leaders in the creative industry. As a special honor, the Grand Prix winner will be given the exclusive opportunity to exhibit their work at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.
The venue, which opened in April 2025, was developed under the concept of a “Creative Crossroads.” This makes it an ideal hub for the convergence of people, objects, and information in the heart of Fukuoka, creating new value. Spiral has already established a satellite art center—SPIRAL GARDEN, combining a gallery, shop, and café—on the third floor of ONE FUKUOKA BLDG., and has launched various joint art programs in partnership with Nishi-Nippon Railroad. Moving forward, Spiral plans to actively involve creators discovered through SICF to expand its activities from the store to the entire building and even the broader Tenjin area. With SICF Fukuoka at its core, this initiative aims to invigorate the art scene in Fukuoka and, more broadly, across Asia. We invite you to look forward to this exciting new endeavor.
